its in the silence, the still
who takes me to rooms I’d never see
if I’d never known the glory
written on hearts who believe
hearts who are promised
a new life, a new hope
forever with the One who breathes
life into souls who’re lost,
full of grief – bound by chains
sin that seeks to destroy
to maim, to end the joy that comes
from knowing the love of God’s Son

its in the story, it is written
on the heart of those who remember
beyond the night, is a spirit
who brings light to this world
who lives so we can know
the music of a love
that is alive and fills the soul
with a beautiful that abides
on the inside, 
where we know – love
that is alive, love that never dies
love that confides, love that abides
because He is ALIVE

its in the saving grace, the faith
that remembers, when all is said and done
it’s the Lord’s will that shall be done
it’s the Lord’s life that assures
there is a home awaiting
beyond the skies
a hope that comforts each fear
a light that shines through the shadows
a love that never leaves a doubt
love this amazing
it’s the reason I’m praising
the One who reminds me
life is more than fun and games
life is lived by hearts who say
the meaning is love
the meaning is grace
the meaning is a hope
that takes away every pain
hope that rescues the soul who prays
hope that reminds – He is here

in the silence, in the story
in the grace, this unending joy
is brought to the heart
who believes He is the One
who delivers freedom
to the prisoner
He is the light
He is the love
He is the song
And He’s never wrong
listen to the spirit who will remind
with Him beside you, you’ll never die
with Him inside you, you’ll surely rise
and live beyond the grave –
in that home in the sky
where love never leaves you
where light shines on and on
revealing the most beautiful story
written by the hand of God
revealing a promise, fulfilled
by this love that will never deceive.
