Hallelujah! Hallelujah!!
I’m seeking God’s will
For everything, each idea, every dream
I’m pursuing the Prince of peace,
The King of kings, the Wonder of wonders
Who created me and gave to me
The sweetest grace, the beauty of faith
Forgiveness and mercy, a second chance
To breath easy, knowing that He is
Alive, my risen Savior…
Someday, someway… He’s coming back
To bring His children home to heaven
Where we will all be of one accord,
Filled with hope, faith and love… praising
The One who gave us His Son,
His Gift of Grace is salvation, redemption
A new birth – a new heart, a new home
Up in the sky where we will all fly
And where we will never die
I’m seeking God’s will
For the brighter day, the best way, when I pray
I’m pursuing the gentle, tender faith,
The second chance, the kindest Redeemer,
Because I’m a believer who knows He is…
The only way toward unending grace
Mercy and peace, the beauty of devotion
Who lasts forever, the miracle of a Savior
Who makes a way where no way has been before
A Savior who I praise with my all and all
Someday, someway – when He comes in the air
In the twinkling of an eye, we will find
… the answer to our prayers, His love
Has opened the door to a new world, a new hope
The beauty of light that has no shadow, no doubt
It is a light of love that never darkens, never goes out
Someday, someway – I will reach that home on high
Where there will be no tears – I won’t ever cry
Where there will be no fears – I won’t ever sigh
Where there will be only years – of joy and light
Love that comes alive, dancing across the heavens
To the music of His beauty, His grace, His embrace
Someday, someway – I will know His abiding peace
Will always be – never leaving me without a hope
Always there to help me to cope and assure my heart
That His love is the only way to truly know the wonder
Of heaven where my soul will never dread or despair
There will only be light that stirs to life our pleasure
Our elation and worship, our praise and admiration
Of a love that is more than breathtaking.
It is remarkable, humbling, spectacular.. it is love
That rouses the stars, the moon and sun… the heart
To believe that heaven is a home worthy of our adoration.
Someday, someway – Jesus will lift our spirits to a home
Where we will never want for anything, where we will never doubt
A home where our heart and soul will always worship Him – eternally
Giving God all the praise and thanks! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!!
The love that appears at the top of almost every list of virtues in the Bible is not just God’s love for us, but also our love for one another. To become a Christian means the very love of God is poured into your heart; it grows within you just as grapes grow on a vine, for the fruit of the Spirit is love. This love isn’t just a spiritual sensation. This love wears work gloves and handles the everyday nuts and bolts of life. It’s highly practical. It hugs the lonely, feeds the hungry, tends the sick, comforts the sorrowful, and puts up with the insufferable. It is kind and long-suffering, pure and perceptive, positive in outlook. It is truly the key ingredient of a life beyond amazing.

Harvest Time
The breathe of summer is nearly past
Oaks and maples collect dreams, belief
Pouring out the tenderest promises, gentling
The spirit with a grace so warm, like a whisper
Caressing the moon with soft tendrils of firefly
Kindness, kindled by the soul who remembers
When the feelings were more pure than temptations
Who render the moments helpless, left yearning
For the laughing smiles, the joy in the rain –
As it falls, glistening on the edges of a hopeful leaf,
Dancing in the flames of fall, when everything prays,
All over there is memory and yesterday and ancient
Shadows, revealing the echoes of a past where history
Told of glorious moments, healing and happiness,
Breathless rays of sun’s setting and rising, reflecting
All the hallelujahs in a song, a wisdom, a heart who longs
For the day when God will say – I’ve come…
To take my children home, YES – to take my children HOME
Where the heart is, where the soul lasts, where freedom
Is like the luscious love that pours out inside the ones who believe,
The ones who see Him as eternal, forever, peace, love
That knows no doubting, no dread, no fear – no fear ever
Can wipe away the satisfaction of having Him say – “You’re mine”
Forever, without end – I will always say grace, His gift, is the answer
To every fear that has ever been.
With HIM, there is no fear that can take away the peace
Living within, where He is… the spirit’s best friend,
The truth that penetrates and inspires, stirring hope and faith
Promising the amazing that comes with grace!
Thanks to HIM, I’m forever praising, praising, praising
The One who left me a reason to thank Him,
A reason to wake to the sound of forever, the eternity
That allows me to answer fear without a tear…
A reason, He brings – a reason to live and a reason to strive
To be like Him, the One who forgives all sin
Because He is the Light revealing grace that will win
In the end, yes oh yes… in the end, He WINS!
Hidden in the midst of Israel’s family tree is the story of a man who’d been standing on his tiptoes, trying to see over the obstacles in front of him. Two short verses give us a brief look at this man and how he prayed: Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested. (1 Chronicles 4:9–10, NKJV)

Breathless Encounters (entered into Religion vs. Spirituality Contest - Won first place) There are times, awkward Moments when I question my own feelings My ideas, thoughts, beliefs The way I have been directed and the Way I have lived There are times, difficult Moments when I don’t know the answers My theories, contemplations, hopes The memories that have given me promises Of the light that I seek The wonder felt in a dream Beckoning me, protecting me, telling me All that I have lived for – my faith Is like a raindrop or a embrace Not long and I’ll know His touch The breath of His love Against my naked spirit The kindness that will lift me Through every worry and temptation There are times, tricky Moments when I fail to feel sure, certainty Colors me ambiguous and I wake to A world of dark, dreary death Blackness surrounding my silent wish For purity, praise, prayer – promises of The everlasting grace – hope and glory Songs to enchant and embrace Longings rich and vibrant, whole Like a hallelujah Sung breathlessly, with Anticipation of holy help There are times, obstinate When I’m insecure It is then that faith reminds me Jesus is alive, a light Living inside me, enlightening Delighting, heartening He only desires my trust In His intimate, vibrant Everlasting Love I believe He is alive A burning fire Living inside Where I only desire To be like Him I’m His child And I am not an only child Religion meets spirituality On the edge of His brilliance Embrace Jesus and live On the caress of His spirit
When we seek God’s blessing as the ultimate value in life, we are throwing ourselves entirely into the river of His will and power and purposes for us. All our other needs become secondary to what we really want—which is to become wholly immersed in what God is trying to do in us, through us, and around us for His glory. Let me tell you a guaranteed by-product of sincerely seeking His blessing: Your life will become marked by miracles. How do I know? Because He promises it, and I’ve seen it happen in my own! God’s power to accomplish great things suddenly finds no obstruction in you. You’re moving in His direction. You’re praying for exactly what God desires. Suddenly the unhindered forces of heaven can begin to accomplish God’s perfect will—through you. And you will be the first to notice!

"Pearls of Hope could not have been written at a more appropriate time. Our nation, seemingly on the brink and in the foreshadow of WWIII, brings much uncertainty and anxiety into our lives. It is a time for prayer, faith, and hope to rule in every decision. Pearls of Hope provides the beauty of words--and the reality of Bible promises--to step out on hope and keep our faith in Jesus. The peace I found in this devotional passes all understanding."
