Foreword

We all have a story that people often see from the outside in but more times than not it is the stories we are all living that people can’t see that bring us the most heartache and leave us feeling hopeless. It is during those times we tend to find ourselves grieving; whether it is from the loss of a loved one, life we thought we would have, relationships, jobs etc. In grief we search for relief, relationships and respite from the heartache of our realities and unfortunately sometimes it is easy to look for those things in all the wrong places. It is in those moments of our life when we are the most unlovable but because of our relationship with Christ we have the tender reminder of His unchanging love that He mercifully bestows to us in the form of Grace.

“Pearls of Grace” daily reminders; speak to us at where we are in life and remind us no matter what season, struggle or obstacle we are facing that there is nothing that the Hope of Jesus can’t overcome or His grace can’t cover. In Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV) it says “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Whether we are going through a season of rejoicing, refining, survival, surrender or just living in the day to day just trying to wait on the Lord; we all need Grace. Regina’s words remind us of the truth we have in God’s promises while using real life quotes and examples to meet us where we are. Her genuine love for the Lord and desire to encourage, uplift and remind God’s people; of the wonderfully true treasures He has left for us here to use while on this earth, will prove uplifting and encouraging regardless of the season of life you are in.

We know none of us deserve any grace because we are imperfect people. However, it is in the reminder of our imperfection that allows God’s grace to overshadow our shortcomings and cover them with the Cross. Ephesians 2:8 (KJV) says “ For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” There is nothing we can do to earn His grace. Nothing we did to deserve it. Nothing we can do to change the grace He is willing to bestow on us daily. Thankfully the Lord doesn’t waste our pain and He can use all different methods to encourage us along our individual walk of life that we are on. “Pearls of Grace” is a reminder that no matter what we are going through; we are not alone and nothing is too big for God.
