Nishtlam Look in the eyes, twinkling light, so alive... caressing the heart, breathing life across the soul, inspiring joy within the one who knows that love comes from above ~ by poet There are times when I cannot say where He is, just how He stills my weary heart, my soul’s distress sometimes, it feels like there is not enough grace to wipe away the loneliness, the fears that dwell beneath my tears, the darkness of a shadow’s breath There are times when I feel so alone as if the worries will never drown such a burden, where to lay it down? so I climb to that one special place, where I find unending grace, amazing faith, such a gentle trace the evidence of a love that shows me, to the tree where He died for me…. There are times when I cannot pray where life feels like I’ll never get past the anxieties, the shadows that stay a part of my heart, a part of my feelings, a part of me can’t I just keep believing… He is here and He is always offering me grace I never need worry – one day, I’ll see His face and there I’ll be known by the love that decides to welcome me home from this broken life… welcome me so that I’ll never doubt what it means, to love with my soul with a love that made me whole, a love that is in control love that comes from knowing the One who gave me hope of a life eternal, a life written by the hand who created me a life that means I’ll be forever praising Him, the One who bought me and paid the price for my freedom with His own blood, with His own breath as He lay down His life, with a final sigh a lonely ache that reminded us all “It is finished” – Tetelestai, nishtlam!
John 19:25-30. Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished; Consummatum est. “The work is done, redemption is accomplished; the salvation of my people is for ever secured.”

Easter Prayer Tetelestai—“It is finished”—may be the most significant word ever uttered across the stratosphere. The single most important statement in all of human history. Spoken by the innocent and dying only begotten Son of God. Tetelestai is a stake driven into eternity, which stands there still, and the kingdom of darkness is powerless against it. - Martin, Charles. It Is Finished: A 40-Day Pilgrimage Back to the Cross (p. xvii). Thomas Nelson. Kindle Edition. Struggling, beneath the lessons melting my darkness, glistening color through the melancholy, imaginations playing on the winds, of yesterday, where they stir… rustling, murmurs of light, breathless, yet silent as the loneliest nights, shadows inviting the music, songs blurring, the melodies with insight, intrigue, inviting, hearts to see beneath the misty mornings, the colors in rich scarlet, breathless cobalt and soothing violet, begetting the music glistening thoughts, melting deception, blessing verity, affections, in graceful tones, imagine, wisdom, so honest and devoted to the light who falls, cleansing away the whispers of a past, the dark that has held my soul in its grasp, where shadows play, carving silhouettes of yesterday into the twilight, sun aching to polish the heart, in wonders, undone, by the joy that comes from knowing God’s only Son, the answer to tears we shun, the reason for all we have sought, the hope, the fire, the soul’s one desire, the love who silences doubt, restores the joy, despite the clouds, awakens a heart to the knowing, wherever there is grace, His anointing, poured out on the spirit, where a solitary life understands the reason, the worth, the plan embracing, with faith, where there was once shame, painting peace, in the promises, the mercy His grace – trembling with kindness, leaves the soul humble, meek as the lamb, yet more alive than it has ever been, alive because it’s been born again, a new life, a new heart, a new reason to praise the One, who came to give each of us, the opportunity to choose the love, that came down from above, to forgive and save us from an eternity, without the One who exchanged His home in heaven, for a cross and nails revealing perfect love, love in innocent blood that only God’s Son had the power to shed for us, sinners without a hope, sinners who needed someone to save their soul from the misery of an eternity without a prayer, an eternity without God there an eternity… how, oh how? Love answered our heart with grace, saving souls through faith, in the One who made a way, when He arose from the tomb, leaving only a memory buried in the tomb where He once lay, Oh, but, He didn’t stay there. No, He didn’t stay…. And, for all eternity, we can praise, just His name,… Jesus, is enough to say – His name is enough to quiet every evil of this world. His name is enough reason to sing praise, forevermore… Praise God, Praise Jesus, the One who died and rose again so I could live in eternity with Him, my very best friend, the reason that light surrounds me, washing me in the calm, His ever soothing balm, forever, all through time, His love will breath joy through my soul, sing satisfaction into my yearning heart, erase the deafening cries, all the alibis with the song of faith, the poetry, the grace, the melody of a day, when we all are changed, in the twinkling of an eye, we’ll be on the other side, with the One who changed our life, the One who heard our cries, and took away those burdens, replacing them with a smile, because forever… sings the light, forever, forever alive with Jesus Christ, in paradise!
