Worth More Than Millions
Jesus gives me directions
To love as He has loved
With a sincere compassion
That knows no conditions
This love of His has no limits
It goes beyond worry and strife
It fills the heart with a joy…
That can only be expressed in rebirth
This love of His has a purpose
To give generously, without constraint
With a true sensitivity to the feelings…
That someone else has felt
This love of His has been given
To bring salvation to the sinner
Reaching into a wretched heart…
And bringing about a complete surrender
This love of His holds the answers
To every question we might ask,
Creates a sense of peace on the inside
That could never compare to another serenity
This love of His sends us promises
That our greatest fears will be overcome
By the assurance that no harm can arise…
For those who trust in God’s only Son
This love of His mends what is broken
Whether it be a heart or a spiritual pain
It restores the one who feels shattered…
With a promise of true hope and faith
This love of His succeeds where nothing else can
Pleading victory from these nail scarred hands
Reaching down to the poorest, lost sinner
And giving a new life, a new way, a second chance.
This love of His is worth more than millions
No amount of money can possibly buy it
Through grace, it is eternal salvation sent to us
Who simply have the faith to accept Him

A soothing silence surrounds me Serenity calling through sensations Of elation that fill me with delight Insights into the whispers of night Where shadows cause me to gasp Away fears who judge me unworthy Elation caresses my spirit with hope Whispering soft caresses into my heart Which discovers the greatest joy within The pleasure sought beyond material things Wherever God’s hand has touched down Healing, helping, hoping for harmonizing Seeking songs which color the breezes Warm hues of melancholy and passionate Promises which drift on the tides of azure Waters which caress the beaches edges And call out to the passing natives sweet tunes Of fireflies creating a flickering paradise in nature Fresh scents of mystery reveal spirit’s dreams Of creative gestures that welcome desire’s fires Within a morning mist or alive in the night shadows Which breathe music through the gentle air And bring enchantment to the surface of pools Drifting with lush, liquid sighs of pure joy Like a warm embrace, she caresses my soul Knowing there are hopes that keep faith alive Warming the skin with sunshine’s insightfulness Creating poetry and prose along the breaking Of dawn and within the harmony of rainfall Comforting the earth with its beautiful silence The Joy of the Lord is my STRENGTH!!!

I heard her singing to the morn
Soft and still, as if meant to warn
Where the black night dwindles to day
There is a joy that’s sure to stay
Whisper of the bluebird in flight
Rising from the murkiest night
Honest as one who kneels to pray
There is a joy that’s sure to stay
I never knew such precious grace
As the love on His gentle face
Love far brighter than the sun’s ray
There is a joy that’s sure to stay
Gentle words so softly spoken
Lifting up the heart who’s broken
Peace in the soul on the Lord’s Day
There is a joy that’s sure to stay
Rise to hear the song of the wood
Revealing the hope that withstood
Listen to God’s word and obey
There is a joy that’s sure to stay
Sing to the night, sing to the light
Wherever He is, all is right
His sweet love will never betray
There is a joy that’s sure to stay

Breath of wonder, at last we’ve heard
Believe and never go astray
There is a joy that’s sure to stay
It rises on the wings of praise
His love will forever amaze
He is the One who ends the gray
There is a joy that’s sure to stay
Silence the windstorm with His still
Blessing souls, He’ll ever fulfill
Our sin debt, Jesus took away
There is a joy that’s sure to stay
All the fears, the tears and the years
Are quieted when He appears
And, when our lifetime, we replay
There is a joy that’s sure to stay
Follow the One who came to give
Saving souls so we’ll always live
In the sky, in heaven someday
There is a joy that’s sure to stay
